Looks like an all too typical hurry-up installation... (probably done by a contractor?)

Q. Have you called contacts on the installation paperwork they left? What did they say?

Lessons from the Millennial generation:
1) Cut the cord - use free TV
2) Use wireless for telephone (if at all possible... including deploying a booster if necessary)
